Objective:
Courses in this field of study have been designed to give students an understanding of the generation, distribution, transmission and utilization of electric power, control and regulation systems in power engineering, information and computer technology, electrical machines and apparatus, electric heat theory and electric light technology. Graduates find career opportunities in the design, control and operation of power plant units and switching stations, and in industrial plants, transport companies and various organizations. There are openings for them in both state-owned and private enterprises, large as well as medium-sized and small.
