DE - Electrical Engineering in Transportation and Automotive Electronics

Objective:
Courses in this field of study have been designed to give students wide theoretical and practical knowledge in an area of Electrical Engineering in Transport. The students have a choice from three specialized branches:
  • Automotive Electronics
  • Signaling Technology in Transport
  • Traction Vehicles
Courses of first branch of study have been designed to give students an understanding of electronics, control systems, microprocessor and information technology, and electrical machines and apparatus. They are oriented to research and development of the electric and electronic equipment of a vehicle. Graduates find career opportunities as specialists in the design, operation and maintenance of electric equipment of automotive vehicles.
Courses in second two branches of study have been designed to give students an understanding of electronics, control systems, microprocessor and information technology, and electrical machines and apparatus. They can specialize either in electric traction vehicles and equipment or in telecommunication, communication and signaling technology in transport. Graduates find career opportunities as specialists in the design, operation and control of transport systems, in the production and operation of traction equipment and in the area of signaling systems.
